Booksale Haul – SM San Lazar

Even if I have a decent haul, I love the National Bookstore Haul more. In fact, the total cost of that haul is cheaper. Ironic huh?

I picked up this book because Edward is learning about plants in school. So I guess this would aide in his lessons. And he was excited about his new plant sprouting.

National Bookstore Warehouse Sale – SM San Lazaro

I passed by National Bookstore on the way home. I was surprised to see that they are having a warehouse sale. It was my first time to witness a warehouse sale. And I was really happy. The books for sale are placed in 2 tables and there was one table for cards/gift bags.

I’ve picked up a lot of books. The good thing is there’s even a markdown from the price tag. So I paid less than what I have expected. Super happy! I’m definitely going back. The sale is from Oct 3-10…

Pre-K Workbooks

After reading about homeschooling for the past few days, I was inspired to look for materials to aid me in my endeavor. Luckily, I passed by SM Makati and saw Learning is Fun Workbooks. It seem interesting…what I like is…it has a prescribed level. And the topics for Pre-K seems simple. In short, I have a chance to try it with Edward. The price of the book is 49.75 Php. So, it’s within the budget.

I bought a few to try out…

After introducing to Edward, he was eager to get the crayons so we can get started. But as I was holding his hand to guide him, he stopped coloring. In the end, here’s the finish product of his first day lesson…

I’m glad with the progress, but still a long way to go…😄 This is his first time to use workbooks/coloring books. Previously, it was all in paper…

The last book is a bonus for Edward since it was on sale…
