Moon Dough

Edward loves to play with this and it’s so easy to make. We use 200g Flour and Baby Oil. No actual measurement for the oil as we just pour and pour until we get the texture that we like. Typically, when you can mold it. And after you crush it, it will return to sand like.

Although Edward likes it, it’s very messy that we have to take a bath right after. Still, he enjoys it so we just let him.

While playing with Edward, out of nowhere he started telling a story and here’s his first story. I’m super proud.

Once upon a time, there were 3 friends and they cannot find Marshall anywhere. They found a rock, a red rock.

image

Itty-bitty kitty started using tail to dig the rock. Digging out the playdough rock. I found something! It’s Marshall’s hat.

Ryder then came along and said “Marshall, I need you and your Bulldozer”.

Edward then run to get his bulldozer and Marshall.

The story resumes…

Marshall, you need to use your drill. He then used the drill to free Marshall. At last, they found Marshall. The end…

It’s a pretty productive day today, I guess. While listening to Hi-5 Zoo Party song in loop for 20 or 30 times, he asked me to get his piano. He was trying to sing while playing.

And before sleeping, he told another story about… The Red Bird.

image

“Once upon a time there was a red bird and he found a nest. Then what happened? The bird got angry and light come out. Meow!”

image

I don’t know why he said Meow though haha. Still, it’s funny.

Proud of you my son. I guess your love for stories is finally inspiring you to tell your own stories. Keep it up Kevy.

Edward picked this up while we were in SNR Laguna. He said he wanted to draw fire trucks with it. Who am I to deprive him of art. So, we bought him one. Was disappointed that the red marker doesn’t have ink anymore.

image

As per the label, it’s super washable. So when Edward wanted to draw on his hands… I just let him. Right after drawing, we went to wash his hands. Oops it didn’t completely wash off.

But on the table stain, all it took was a wet wipe.

The verdict? It’s still pretty cool. Just allow a few hours probably before the ink would wash off his hands. After two washes. It’s still pretty visible.

On the way home from the beach, we dropped by SNR Laguna and was surprised to see that they were selling a table that is convertible to Lego table. Not really Lego brand but works well with Lego. And surprisingly, the amount is not that expensive it’s 1,649.95 Php.

Lego base 32×32 studs costs around 700 ish if I remember correctly. So this table is a bargain.

It can be a study and play table. I like the storage below. A little divider included as well.

What won’t work is when you want to play with the pieces and it’s underneath. You’ll have to use another table to place the base.

In our case, Edward’s duplo is stored separately… So it’s fine for us.

Chair is sturdy, I can sit on it as well.
