While strolling through Lucky Chinatown Mall, Kalvin literally stopped on his tracks when he saw this…

The shirt is selling at Php 999, if you buy a second shirt, you can get it at P799. Third shirt would be at Php 999 but you get a free umbrella. They said for every set, you can get the second one at Php 799.

Shirt is available for Kids, Women and Men. Women’s shirt has lesser design though. Men’s shirt even have glow in the dark.

Here are some of the available design…

Even the paper bag is cool. Really collectible.

And the umbrella is pretty big and cool.

Here’s our Voltes V Shirt. Go get yours now!

We got this toy for Christmas and I’m glad that we did.  Because it’s so much fun to play with.

The set comes with Muck,  a can and a pack of sand.  Muck has tons of patterns you can use.  And since it’s sand,  it’s easy to get the sand pattern out. Just mold and flip it.  The final product is also impressive.  Quite detailed actually.

I like how the sand don’t have smell. It doesn’t make me puke.  And the texture is just right.  Not sticky to hands.  But it’s sticky to the rest of the sand making the clean up easy.

The set was enjoyable to Edward and me. We played for more than an hour upon opening. Although,  Edward has a different way of playing.  He likes to cover the diecasts with sand and pretend that it’s a ghost.  Quite imaginative.  Haha.

There are also other variants,  Scoop and Roley.  We would get Roley next time.

Edward picked this up while we were in SNR Laguna. He said he wanted to draw fire trucks with it. Who am I to deprive him of art. So, we bought him one. Was disappointed that the red marker doesn’t have ink anymore.

image

As per the label, it’s super washable. So when Edward wanted to draw on his hands… I just let him. Right after drawing, we went to wash his hands. Oops it didn’t completely wash off.

But on the table stain, all it took was a wet wipe.

The verdict? It’s still pretty cool. Just allow a few hours probably before the ink would wash off his hands. After two washes. It’s still pretty visible.

On the way home from the beach, we dropped by SNR Laguna and was surprised to see that they were selling a table that is convertible to Lego table. Not really Lego brand but works well with Lego. And surprisingly, the amount is not that expensive it’s 1,649.95 Php.

Lego base 32×32 studs costs around 700 ish if I remember correctly. So this table is a bargain.

It can be a study and play table. I like the storage below. A little divider included as well.

What won’t work is when you want to play with the pieces and it’s underneath. You’ll have to use another table to place the base.

In our case, Edward’s duplo is stored separately… So it’s fine for us.

Chair is sturdy, I can sit on it as well.

This is my first Sluban, but definitely won’t be my last. I was able to complete the van without it falling apart. Good job! And the minifigure’s head is moving. So is the dog’s head.

Overall, seems to be for girls as it has pink colored bricks. And cutesy stickers. For 150 Php, it was worth it.

image

The set has tons of extra parts, even Lego don’t give as much extras. Especially big pieces.

image

What could be improved… Probably the instruction manual. It was only a flyer, hence concised.

image

I like the idea of a selfie stick. Too bad, the minifigure can’t hold it properly. But I don’t mind.

Super excited to see other sets. So far, it’s on my approved brand list.

Was supposed to open only 1 minifigure, Woody, but we got the dirty face one. And Edward doesn’t want to build it. In the end, we opened 3 so he can play afterwards.

There are also 8 minifigures for this set, sadly the set I have has 2 army man. Hence, I don’t have the alien. 😦

Anyway, for this review. I like the figures as Edward said “all painted, no stickers”

Buzz is tiny! But overall I am happy with the set.

July 26 Updates:
Surprise!!! I was able to get the alien which was individually sold for 50 Php or 3 for 100 Php. I got alien and two TMNT figures.

It’s definitely worth it, it’s my favorite.

We are back to review the City Minifigure set. And this time, we would start with the sailor one.

I like the sailor a lot. It even looks like Edward’s uniform. So it kinda reminds me of that.

I was surprised to see the piece was fully disassembled. I had to put the torso and hands first before Edward was able to build it. Even the feet are separated. Whoa! Anyway,  after putting it together Edward was able to build the set. And here it is.

The set consists of 8 minifigures. What could have been better is the palm tree. I hope it was different pieces instead of one chunk and a leaf. Then it would be more playable. But overall, super happy with this.

Extra hand… Just in case. 😉
