Robinson’s Place Ermita Book Haul

I went on a date with husband one day when Katsu was able to babysit for us. Not much of a haul, I am starting to lose my touch. Haha. Actually, there are still some interesting books but husband didn’t approved. Hence, I returned it. My shopping technique is to find an interesting book and if it’s still too early for Edward, then I’ll keep it. Husband’s technique, buy only what is needed for now. As there might be newer version of the book in the future. Totally different beliefs but we adjust.

National Bookstore Sale Book Haul – SM San Lazaro

We had an impromptu trip to SM San Lazaro and we’ve decided to check out the branch for the sale. What’s nice in this place is they have separated the things on sale in a different rack in the center of the aisle. Hence, I don’t need to browse though every rack to see if there’s a discount. At the same time, they have indicated how much is he final price for the book. This way, no more surprises in the checkout counter.

They have a good selection also, not as good as MOA but there are some good stuffs. I have spent 453 Php and here’s my stash. Majority if the book original price is at 150-200. I got them for 44 and 55 Php. Nothing over 60 Php. Not bad huh?

Booksale Book Haul

After the National Bookstore sale, we went to Book Sale to find more bargain. But it was a bit disappointing. I had a hard time looking for good books. In fact, some of the books cost more than National Bookstore price. This is weird, because they are supposed to be second hand books. Anyway, here’s my haul. Not as fun as National’s bunch.

National Bookstore Sale Haul – MOA

There’s an ongoing sale on all National Bookstore Branches for 10 days starting on August 30. We went to the MOA branch on the first day of sale and I am super happy with our haul. Some books are discounted at 70%. Super bargain. The biggest surprise are the Simpsons books. There’s no price tag on the books but since they are on sale we have decided to get it. And what a pleasant surprise! We got it for 33 and 40 pesos. It’s original price is at 300+ in other bookstores. I also like the Ready to Read Books, I got them for 13.50 Php each. Super bargain. Another good find is the Look n Find books at 50% off. I got 4 books at 49 Php each.
